CLINICAL PHSYCHOLOGY

Clinical psychology is a subdiscipline within psychology that studies all the elements involved in mental disorders and, more generically, mental health.

Thus, clinical psychology carries out all the tasks of evaluation, diagnosis, prevention and therapeutic intervention in people with some type of mental affectation or misadaptive behavior, in order to restore psychological balance and eliminate all suffering.

The main functions of the psychologist are to analyze problems, evaluate behavior, listen, explain, inform, provide resources and strategies, motivate for change, provide guidelines and accompany during the change.
